Debits and Credits Accounting Worksheet

Posted by Ana Orwel on Monday, March 23, 2009

Accounting is all about debiting and crediting the different transactions which take place in the business everyday.

An ideal debits and credits accounting worksheet is the one which has both the debit as well as the credit sides. All the accounts which are recorded for should have both these sides under the double entry principle of account keeping. The general rule is to record all the debit transactions on the left hand side of the worksheet and all the credit transactions on the right side.

At present all the accounts are recorded with the help of programs which are designed by the companies itself. But it is essential that you know the basics before using these tools.
